• The following knowledge is acquired here:
• general education subjects: e.g., mathematics, economics, and social studies
• job-specific learning areas: e.g., analyzing electrical systems and testing functions, executing and commissioning building technical systems

**Practice**

The practical training takes place in the Technical Property Management (TLM) of JGU in the Electrical Engineering department (TLM 1.6) in cooperation with the Industry Institute for Teaching and Further Education Mainz.

• Practical skills in handling tools and machines are necessary, as much work is done in the workshop or on systems.
• Technical understanding
• A good understanding of technical contexts and processes is crucial, as the work often involves complex systems and devices.
• Basic interest in electronics and technology
• A basic interest in electrical systems and their functionality is important.
• Mathematical skills
• Basic knowledge of mathematics is important for performing calculations and understanding technical drawings.
• Physical resilience
• In some areas, the work can be physically demanding, so a certain level of fitness is an advantage. Work is sometimes carried out in confined spaces as well as on ladders and scaffolding.

Annual special payment on 01.12. amounting to 95% of the Ausbildung remuneration

Completion bonus of €400.00 upon successful completion of the final examination on the first attempt
