As Group Buyer, you are responsible for procuring production materials and trading goods on time, on budget and to quality standards, making a key contribution to the company's success. Vaillant Group is a successful family business and one of the world's leading providers of heat pumps, digital services and efficient gas heating appliances.

• Be responsible for procuring production materials and trading goods on time, on budget and to quality standards
• Analyze national and international procurement markets, identify trends and potential, and help develop and implement purchasing and material group strategies
• Accompany new products and projects from development to market launch, ensure early supplier integration and contribute to well-founded supplier decisions
• As an active purchasing member of interdisciplinary project teams, organize and support supplier kick-offs, support product ramp-ups and ensure market launch deadlines are met
• Support new ramp-ups, manage supplier-related risks and contribute to the stability of supply chains in critical situations
• Analyze offers, negotiate independently and conclude contracts making optimal use of all purchasing levers
• Ensure high quality standards and efficient processes through quality measures and data maintenance

• Qualification: completed degree in a technical or business field, ideally at Bachelor's or Master's level
• Know-how: professional experience in purchasing trading goods, good understanding of procurement processes and technical know-how, ideally in plastics
• Nice to have: knowledge of supplier management and material group strategy
• Skills & languages: analytical thinking, negotiation skills, very good English, and experience with common IT systems, e.g. SAP and MS Office
• Personality: teamwork, strong communication and a confident manner combined with assertiveness
