2027 Dual Study Program - Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng.)

The practice-integrated dual study program lasts three years and alternates every three months between practical phases at Vaillant in Remscheid and study phases at Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Karlsruhe. The university offers practice-oriented teaching and small classes.

You will learn fundamental engineering knowledge in mathematics, physics, mechanics and materials science. You will gain specialist knowledge in design and development as well as manual and machine-based skills, including forming, moulding, joining, data processing and electrical engineering. You will work on practical engineering assignments, complete academic and practical projects, rotate through the training workshop, research and development, prototype construction, production planning and manufacturing engineering, and take on your own projects, such as a sustainability project.

Successfully completed university entrance qualification, ideally with advanced courses in mathematics and physics. You have an aptitude for science subjects, are interested in technology and mechanical engineering, have good German and English skills, and are open to foreign cultures, team-oriented and committed. You want to study while gaining practical experience and are keen to help advance the digital future.
