EMC Engineer / EMC Specialist

As an EMC Engineer / EMC Specialist (m/f/d), you will support our development projects from the first idea to product maturity and make sure electromagnetic compatibility is an integral part of our product development from the start.

• You support development projects as an EMC expert throughout the whole product creation process and ensure EMC requirements are considered early
• You are responsible for EMC-compliant design of our products and advise the development teams on shielding, grounding, cable routing and filter concepts
• You carry out circuit and wiring harness reviews and identify potential EMC risks in early development phases
• You analyze emissions and immunity problems, evaluate measurement results and derive lasting technical improvements
• You support internal and external EMC tests and help verify and secure developed solutions
• You use measurement methods, near-field analysis and simulation methods to investigate electromagnetic questions
• You work closely with development departments, suppliers and international project teams
• You continuously develop existing EMC guidelines, best practices and lessons learned, helping to improve our development standards sustainably

• Qualification: You have a successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience: You bring experience in EMC, electronics development or power electronics and ideally have already applied your know-how successfully in development projects
• Expertise and skills: You have solid knowledge of relevant EMC standards and test methods as well as a deep understanding of electromagnetic coupling mechanisms and of shielding, filtering, grounding and interference suppression concepts
• Measurement technology and simulation: You have experience with EMC measurement technology, analyzing and interpreting measurement results, and ideally knowledge of numerical simulation methods and tools such as Altair FEKO
• Personality: You stand out through analytical thinking, a structured way of working and the ability to identify and solve technical causes sustainably
• Collaboration: You enjoy working in interdisciplinary and international teams and are known for proactive, solution-oriented communication
• Language skills: You have very good German skills and good written and spoken English
