Realignment and design of the application landscape architecture in the composite area; close cooperation with developers and specialist departments to understand technical and functional requirements and make the necessary architectural deductions; transformation of monolithic architectures to cloud readiness and containerization taking into account IT security, data protection, system resilience and quality characteristics according to ISO 25010 (performance, scalability, maintainability); cooperation with agile project teams; continuous improvement of the architecture also in adjacent areas; participation and co-design in the COE Architecture and cooperation with architects of adjacent areas; comprehensible preparation of technical issues for developers, management and business decision-makers; work with our AI technologies in the IT, software development and process environment.

Completed degree in (business) informatics or comparable qualifications or equivalent professional experience; at least 5 years of relevant experience in the conception/design of enterprise application architectures; sound professional experience with technologies such as JakartaEE, Quarkus, JUnit, Selenium, GitLab, Maven, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Nexus Repository, Sonatype Lifecycle, Jenkins and comparable solutions as well as good knowledge of database systems such as DB2 or comparable systems; broad knowledge of concepts such as monoliths, microservices, event-driven architecture (EDA), service-oriented architecture (SOA) and layered architectures; Jira and Confluence are important skills for daily work; knowledge of agile methods and working methods (SCRUM, Kanban, …); high awareness of software quality and IT security; independent working style, initiative and assertiveness as well as a structured approach and strong communication skills at all levels.
