About this Apprenticeship
Landhaus Leinefelder Hof in Leinefelde-Worbis is seeking a qualified care assistant for full-time or part-time shift work. You will support residents with greater care needs and work closely with qualified nursing staff.
What You'll Learn
- Provide personal care to residents with greater support needs, including help with mobility, washing and eating
- Independently carry out basic medical and therapeutic procedures, such as checking vital signs, giving medication and administering subcutaneous injections
- Work closely with qualified nursing staff and help shape residents' daily care
Requirements
- Completed care assistant training regulated by state law, for example as an elderly care assistant or nursing assistant
- Sound knowledge of personal care and basic medical and therapeutic procedures
- Willingness to take responsibility, a structured approach to work and the ability to stay calm in challenging care situations
- Enjoyment of close teamwork with care staff and willingness to actively contribute your knowledge
