Dual Study Mechanical Engineering - Apprenticeship Technical Product Designer

Training-integrated dual study program in mechanical engineering in cooperation with Trier University of Applied Sciences, starting August 2027 at the Wittlich plant. Total duration is 4.5 years with theory and practice phases. Degree: Bachelor of Engineering plus IHK qualification as Technical Product Designer.

• You design and construct components and assemblies with CAD
• You produce technical drawings and documentation
• You plan, organize and coordinate workflows in the design process, considering economic and quality aspects
• You use information and communication technologies with attention to data security

• Successfully completed Abitur (university entrance qualification)
• Interest in machines and technology
• Basic technical understanding
• Good grades in mathematics and physics
• Good written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Strong willingness to learn and interest in the chosen profession
• Commitment, initiative and self-motivation
