Apprenticeship as Bank Clerk

The apprenticeship as a bank clerk lasts 2.5 years and takes the form of a dual apprenticeship. The practical part takes place at Volksbank Leonberg-Strohgäu eG. You will receive a training plan guiding you through all relevant departments such as private and corporate customer advisory, construction financing, and accounting and controlling. Experienced colleagues support you throughout. Theoretical knowledge is taught at the commercial vocational school in Böblingen in block lessons lasting 3–5 weeks. Key subjects include banking business administration, general economics, and accounting. Additionally, apprentices receive weekly in-house training at our training center, covering review of school material or intensive exam preparation.

At least a good secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss). High motivation and willingness to perform. Enjoyment of dealing with people. Interest in financial and business topics. Openness, sociability, and teamwork. Analytical and critical thinking skills.
