You will learn to perform test and diagnostic tasks on commercial vehicles correctly. You will maintain the mechanics, electrical systems, and control technology of the vehicles. You will learn to fix faults and malfunctions using the latest computer technology, and to assemble, disassemble, and repair truck components. You will get to know future topics such as electromobility and digitalization in commercial vehicles. New vehicle equipment as well as installation and retrofitting work are also part of your tasks.

You have already obtained your (technical) high school diploma, secondary school diploma, or a good lower secondary school diploma, or are on your way to getting one. You are interested in technology, vehicles, and electronics and enjoy solving technical problems. You ideally already have manual dexterity and a good technical understanding; you'll learn the rest with us. You like working with colleagues, are reliable, and approach tasks in a structured manner. You have good German language skills, both written and spoken. And most importantly: you are eager to do an apprenticeship at Volvo Trucks and would like to get to know us beforehand through an internship.
