As a tiler, slab and mosaic layer, you design floors and walls in kitchens, bathrooms and residential buildings. Your work is visible and helps keep homes and buildings in good condition for the long term.

You inspect and prepare substrates, seal surfaces and install tiles, slabs and mosaics. You cut materials to millimetre precision, create clean joints and contribute to renovation and new-build projects. At the company and vocational school, you learn about materials, installing floors and walls indoors and outdoors, sealing and insulation work, and renovating and maintaining existing surfaces.

You have practical skills, enjoy hands-on work, have good spatial awareness and an eye for detail. You are reliable, careful and enjoy working in a team. A Realschulabschluss or good Hauptschulabschluss is sufficient.
