2026 - Apprenticeship as Electronics Technician for Operating Technology

During your three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician (m/f/d) for operating technology, you will be deployed primarily in our operating technology department. The focus there is on maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting. You will also learn other areas such as our energy supply, our automated industrial conveyor system, our various storage systems (ORSY) and our building system. During your apprenticeship, you will attend the commercial-technical school in Bad Mergentheim once or twice a week.

Insights: You gain practical experience particularly in our operating technology department. There you test and analyze electrical functions, systems, components and devices as well as their safety. You also install technical system parts, commission them, and learn to configure and program controls. Furthermore, you gain insights into the areas of building technology and our system suppliers. You will be supervised by your trainer at all times and conduct regular feedback meetings. Responsibility: You work independently on tasks in the department and have the opportunity to participate in various apprentice projects (e.g., project groups such as apprentice committee, social media, WISpresents). Collaboration: You support the team members and also work closely with the other apprentices and departments.

Education: You have completed school with at least an intermediate school leaving certificate. Motivation: You want to apply and expand your interest in physical and complex technical tasks in your daily work, learn new things quickly and enjoy working in a team. Your strengths: You are characterized by a reliable and committed way of working.

Security: We offer high chances of being taken on in a usually permanent employment relationship. On top, you get 30 days of vacation. For social engagement, you can be released for 2 days per year with pay. Training: We do everything to ensure you can develop and unfold individually – ranging from thorough onboarding in the teams to targeted internal training series specifically for apprentices. Additionally, there are over 300 e-learnings enabling flexible learning directly at the workplace. After the apprenticeship, there is the opportunity for part-time further education (specialist, bachelor, etc.).
