Health & Safety Manager

As Health & Safety Manager you help ensure lasting occupational health, safety and fire protection at the site. Together with your team you ensure smooth and safe processes and strengthen the health and safety culture.

• Ensure we fully meet legal requirements for occupational safety, health protection, fire protection and environmental protection, working closely with the safety specialists.
• Advise managers and employees on all aspects of occupational safety, health protection, fire protection and environmental protection.
• Create analyses and reports on key safety metrics and initiate preventive measures.
• Maintain cooperation with the employers' liability insurance association, local authorities, the fire department, the company doctor and the works council.
• Help organise in-house training of first aiders and fire protection and evacuation helpers.
• Act as interface and contact person for cross-department projects and represent the safety department at important events.

• You have successfully completed a technical degree or comparable training with a technician, engineer or master craftsman qualification.
• You hold a qualification as a safety specialist (per ASiG) and have first experience in health & safety.
• Training as a fire safety officer is an advantage but not required.
• You can confidently apply safety laws, regulations and guidelines.
• You keep yourself up to date on developments in occupational and fire safety and look forward to gaining additional HSE qualifications.
• You take responsibility and proactively develop ideas to optimise processes and strengthen the safety culture.
• You use software, apps and web tools confidently and look forward to deepening your Google Workspace skills.
• You are a strong communicator. Good German and English skills, spoken and written.
