Team Leader

Help build Zalando's new logistics centre in Gießen as a team leader. Shape the site with the core team, improve customer processes and support staff scheduling and your team's development.

• Analyse all relevant customer processes and identify opportunities to improve them
• Support various projects and develop recommendations for action
• Coordinate effective staff scheduling
• Help your team develop professionally and personally

• You have completed vocational training and have some initial experience providing technical leadership to small teams.
• You have good IT skills and independently achieve set targets.
• You use analytical thinking to stay calm and make sound decisions in challenging situations. As a leader, you understand your role as an example to others and act accordingly every day.
• You know how to create a working environment where your team enjoys working and wants to share information, ideas and appreciation.
• You have good speaking skills and a basic understanding of handling conflicts. You use your communication skills to share your expertise clearly, in a way colleagues can retain, and suited to their knowledge.
• You have good German skills at C1 level to communicate within the team. Ideally, you also have basic English skills and/or knowledge of another language used at the site.
• You are willing to work in a three shift system.
