About this Apprenticeship
You will learn to assemble, test, commission, and maintain engines and mechatronic systems, whether for ship propulsion, emergency power generators, or crushing plants. You will gain insights into control technology and initial programming tasks on mechatronic components installed in our engines and systems. You will experience how varied the requirements for an engine can be, whether it must run robustly in continuous operation on a road milling machine or reliably supply a data center with power in an emergency. As part of a cross-company apprenticeship in cooperation with DB Training Bremen, you will expand your practical horizons. Even during your apprenticeship, you will be fully integrated into the team and production processes, including independent work. Your apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years; with good performance, shortening is possible, and excellent takeover opportunities await afterward.

Requirements
- School diploma – secondary school diploma with good knowledge in STEM subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology), as well as English and German language skills (C1).
- Understanding – Good manual and technical understanding.
- Soft skills – Teamwork, punctuality, foresight, and care.
- Interest – Enthusiasm for technical and mechanical relationships.
What Zeppelin Konzern offers
- Attractive apprenticeship remuneration: In the first year you receive 1,293 euros gross per month, in the second year 1,358 euros, and in the third year 1,438 euros. Additionally, you will participate in the company's success during your apprenticeship and receive an annual bonus.
- Coverage of apprenticeship costs: We naturally cover all course fees as well as costs for textbooks, tools, etc.
- Work equipment and apprenticeship support: From the start, you will be provided with your own laptop. Regular feedback meetings with your trainers and individual learning support offers prepare you optimally for your apprenticeship completion.

To ensure fun is not neglected, there are joint apprentice events such as our Welcome Days for new apprentices, barbecue events, and a graduation event for all apprentices at the corporate headquarters in Munich.
