About this Apprenticeship
Zeppelin Power Systems is looking, as soon as possible, for a commissioning engineer for energy systems for large and complex data center projects. You independently test, parameterize and commission plants and systems, and work closely with experienced colleagues from engineering and service. The focus is on structured troubleshooting, precise documentation and implementing modern technical solutions. Full-time (40 hours), location nationwide in Germany.
What You'll Learn
- Carrying out and organising commissioning and functional tests of drive and energy systems
- Handing over the plants and systems to the customer
- Documenting the work carried out and creating reports
- Training and instructing customers in operating the plants, followed by advice and support
- Fault diagnosis and repair
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work
Requirements
- Completed technical training, e.g. as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician or comparable qualification
- Experience working in data centers
- Field service knowledge as a service technician and professional experience in commissioning technical systems are an advantage
- Teamwork, strong service orientation and good communication skills
- Fluent German (C1) and good English (B1), spoken and written
- Willingness to travel (approx. 80%) within Germany
