Mechanic / Mechatronics Technician at the Test Bench

You test the performance and function of engines and generator sets under real conditions at the test bench and support the team with test and test-bench runs. Full-time (40 hours), starting at the earliest possible date in Achim near Bremen.

• You set up and independently carry out water brake runs, function runs and load runs on diesel and gas engines and generator sets
• Setting up and installing relevant measuring equipment is part of your role, as is creating the test bench documentation
• You make the adapters and fixtures needed for the tests yourself and ensure they are ready for use
• You also support the plant engineering team at our Achim site with a variety of technical tasks

• You have a successfully completed vocational training as a mechanic, mechatronics technician, construction machinery technician, metalworker or a comparable qualification
• You already bring work experience in metalworking or electrical trades in industry or a similar environment
• A basic understanding of electrical engineering and confident use of IT applications set you apart
• Ideally you have knowledge of engine and generator set technology
• You combine a careful and self-responsible way of working with strong manual skills
• Team spirit, flexibility and resilience are among your personal strengths
• You find creative and practical solutions to mechanical challenges
• You have fluent German at C1 level
