Mechatronics Technician as Rental Station Technician for Construction Machinery and Equipment

A mechanic is needed as soon as possible at the Köln-Porz location to work as a rental station technician for construction machinery and equipment. The role includes preparing, handing out, receiving, maintaining and repairing rental machinery and equipment.

• Varied tasks in a modern, well-equipped workshop
• Prepare construction machinery and equipment for each rental
• Hand out rental equipment at check-out and show customers how to use it
• Receive returned rental equipment at check-in, identify damage and record it
• Inspect, maintain, care for and prepare machinery and equipment, including accident prevention inspections
• Carry out repairs in the workshop, on construction sites or directly at customers' premises
• Keep the company grounds clean and the yard orderly

• A technical or craft apprenticeship is desirable. Applicants with a background in mechanics, mechatronics, hydraulics, vehicle technology, heating technology or similar fields are encouraged to apply.
• A responsible approach, working reliably and accurately, especially when handing out and receiving equipment
• A practical approach and enjoyment of working in a great team
• Enjoyment of giving customers professional advice when showing them how to use equipment
• A driving licence, at least category B
• Confident use of a PC and smartphone for communication through email and MS Teams, and for documenting work with photos and reports
