Project Engineer Electrical Engineering

At Zeppelin Power Systems in Achim, as a project engineer for electrical engineering you support the technical planning of complex plants and systems through to commissioning. You analyze technical relationships, carry out function tests, optimize system parameters and help with fault diagnosis. Full-time (40 hours), start at the earliest possible date.

• Handling inquiries and technical project work
• Electrical overall system coordination
• Technical implementation of the project from the sales phase to shipping
• Responsibility for keeping to budgets and deadlines during project execution
• Coordination of internal and external interfaces
• Responsibility for the system integration of electrical engineering in container installations with gensets from the Caterpillar product portfolio
• Control of genset auxiliary drives such as tank control, ventilation, cooling

• Successfully completed engineering degree in electrical engineering/energy engineering
• Work experience in power plants and/or plant engineering
• Knowledge of technical equipment in low and medium voltage technology
• Knowledge of operating modes and control of generators and of using single line diagrams
• Experience in project planning
• Independent, systematic and structured way of working
• High commitment, communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent German (C1) and good English, spoken and written (at least B2)
