IoT Project Manager

Technology Enabled Solutions (TES) at Zeppelin Power Systems collects, processes and provides engine and equipment data for marine applications, rail vehicles, industry, and electricity and heat generation. Its integrated AEC solution supports the management of entire fleets and provides insights into engine performance, operating conditions and other relevant data.

• Lead and coordinate IoT projects directly with customers, from the initial concept through successful implementation
• Provide customers with technical support for hardware and software, both on site and remotely
• Develop technical concepts, manage technical requirements and ensure solutions meet customer needs
• Configure, install and commission equipment and system components
• Analyse faults and develop lasting solutions to keep systems operating reliably without disruption
• Support the sales team with quotations and technical solution concepts
• Work closely with customers, engineering, sales and support to maintain high service and project quality
• Keep careful, complete records of all service, support and project activities

• Experience in industrial IoT and a good understanding of connecting machines, equipment and embedded systems
• Familiarity with modern IoT architectures and industrial communication standards through your daily work
• A structured approach to analysing complex technical issues and developing practical, lasting solutions
• Strong communication skills and a practical approach when working in teams, directly with customers or internationally
• Enthusiasm for new technologies and the ability to learn about new systems and applications quickly
• Confident spoken and written German and English
• Knowledge of embedded hardware and Linux would be an advantage
• An existing work permit for Germany is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
