Field Service Technician for Construction Machinery and Equipment

A field service technician for construction machinery and equipment is wanted for the Berlin-Tempelhof or Cottbus location. You work independently in the field and are responsible for repair, maintenance and servicing of construction machinery and equipment.

• As a service technician you work independently in the field and are responsible for all repair, maintenance and servicing tasks on construction machinery and equipment.
• You travel flexibly and actively support construction sites, customers and our own rental stations.
• Your duties also include larger repairs, e.g. on gearboxes, axles, engines, hydraulic cylinders, generators and pumps.
• You are also responsible for computer-aided analysis, diagnosis, calibration and fixing of electronic faults in controls and control units.
• You identify defects and damage on site, find the causes of faults and fix them yourself by carrying out repairs and adjustments on vehicle components as well as vehicle electrics.
• Determining the spare parts needed for repairs rounds off your varied range of tasks.

• You have completed training as a mechanic or mechatronics technician with a focus on agricultural and construction machinery technology / construction machinery mechatronics / commercial vehicle mechanics, or have a comparable technical qualification.
• You bring solid work experience, preferably in field service, and enjoy getting technically demanding units and equipment running.
• You are both a lone worker and a team player, like to pitch in, and your colleagues can always rely on you.
• You work in an organized, reliable, independent and customer- and service-oriented way.
• Even in challenging situations you keep an overview, think outside the box, use your talent for improvising and quickly find solutions to get the equipment working again as fast as possible.
• You have a class B driving licence. Further licences such as forklift and crane licences are an advantage, but not a must.
• You are confident with common MS Office programs.
• Fluent German skills, spoken and written.
