About this Apprenticeship
Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH is seeking a field maintenance technician for construction machinery at its Eschweiler branch, starting as soon as possible. The company has been Caterpillar’s exclusive sales and service partner in Germany since 1954.
What You'll Learn
- Carry out basic maintenance and servicing on construction machinery at customer sites
- Perform inspections, oil changes, software updates and calibration work on construction machinery
- Ensure all work is completed correctly, to a high standard and on time
- Help maintain customer satisfaction and lasting customer relationships through reliable service and modern equipment
- Get an insight into a typical working day for a Zeppelin service technician
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician specialising in commercial vehicles, an automotive mechatronics technician or an equivalent qualification, ideally in agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics
- Ideally some initial experience maintaining and servicing construction machinery or commercial vehicles
- A category BE driving licence is desirable
- An independent, careful approach to work and a focus on customer needs
- Good German at B2 level; some basic English is an advantage
- Confident use of standard MS Office applications
