B.Eng. Mechatronics - Product Innovation Department, Starting 1 September 2027

A 3.5-year dual Mechatronics degree program in cooperation with Hochschule Hannover. The focus is on product pre-development, particularly electrified mechatronic systems for heavy commercial vehicles. Theory and practical phases alternate.

Design and engineering tasks during the development of innovative mechatronic systems and components; design and implementation of functions in rapid-prototyping environments; setup, commissioning and testing of prototypes in the laboratory or vehicle; analysis, evaluation and preparation of measurement data; technical support for competitor analyses; development and testing of product concepts; learning about cross-functional functions and interfaces between vehicle systems.

General higher education entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification; logical thinking; technical understanding; enthusiasm for commercial vehicles; interest in how devices work in detail; initial practical or manual experience in metalworking or electrical engineering; good English skills; strong communication skills; enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration; high commitment and willingness to take responsibility; prior training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a similar technical field is an advantage.
