B.Eng. Industrial Engineering

Interdisciplinary degree programme covering business administration, natural sciences and engineering fundamentals. Theory and practical phases alternate in three- or six-month periods. Practical phases at ZF deepen the course content through day-to-day business tasks and project work. The standard programme lasts 3.5 years, or 7 semesters.

Solve technical questions using commercial expertise, work across departmental boundaries, coordinate different interests and contribute to projects.

Good Abitur, Fachabitur or suitable completed prior education. This includes a lower secondary education certificate or equivalent, plus suitable completed vocational training with at least two years of professional experience, or an equivalent qualification following a completed master craftsman examination.

The training contract guarantees a regular income from the first day. Further development opportunities after graduation include a master's degree, personnel development programmes and roles in sales, portfolio management, controlling, purchasing and logistics.
