CQA Engineering Cost Analysis

Product Cost Management position at ZF Active Safety GmbH in Koblenz. The role belongs to ZF's ADAS and HPC business, which is planned for sale, and involves analysing development costs for driver assistance systems and high-performance computing technologies.

• Provide development cost estimates for new project bids and development projects, and support target costing from the concept stage to the start of production
• Monitor programme development budgets and forecast cost trends
• Identify cost risks and implement measures to address them
• Provide cost information to development teams to support cost-efficient development decisions
• Analyse how technical changes and design adjustments affect costs
• Encourage cooperation between engineering, finance and programme management
• Review and validate cost models, assumptions and methods
• Present cost status, potential savings and risks to senior management

• Completed bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, finance or a related field
• Several years of experience in product development cost estimation or engineering finance
• Sound understanding of product development processes and cost drivers
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial modelling
