As an industrial mechanic, you are the competent contact person in our modern production and assembly areas and ensure a smooth process in our production and assembly. You set up, convert, commission and monitor production and assembly systems, and are also jointly responsible for maintenance and repair. During your training, you will learn to operate machines and production systems. Through project tasks in a team, you will gain insights into business processes.

For the training you need a good 10th grade school leaving certificate. The regular training lasts 3.5 years. Through good theoretical and practical performance during your training or with a corresponding school education, you can achieve early admission to the IHK final examination. This shortens your training period to 3 years.
