Technical Assistant to the Plant Management Berlin

To strengthen the Surface Treatment division, a Technical Assistant to the Plant Management (m/f/d) is wanted from 01.01.2027 at the Berlin site. Aalberts Surface Technologies offers heat treatment and surface coating processes for customers from the automotive industry, mechanical engineering and aerospace, among others.

• Supporting the plant management with technical, organisational and operational tasks in day-to-day business
• Preparing, coordinating and following up on technical measures, projects and decisions
• Creating and maintaining analyses, key figures, presentations and decision bases for the plant management
• Helping to plan and carry out investment and optimization projects
• Analyzing existing process flows and helping to identify and implement improvements
• Documenting processes, measures and project status and consistently following up on agreed tasks
• Helping to comply with and further develop quality, health, safety and environmental standards
• Close cooperation with plant management, specialist departments, central functions and external partners

• Completed technical degree, ideally in materials or process engineering, surface technology, production engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical qualification
• First professional experience in a manufacturing company, ideally in the metalworking industry, surface technology or a similar environment
• Good technical understanding and interest in production processes, key figures and continuous improvement
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working with strong organisational talent
• Confident manner, strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with different departments
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, ideally Microsoft 365
• Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written
