Project Controller in Construction Project Management with a Focus on Cost Controlling

ADAC Nordrhein e.V. is looking for a Project Controller (f/m/d) in construction project management with a focus on cost controlling in Cologne. The department is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and monitoring new construction and conversion projects. Full-time, permanent.

• Responsible for managing and supporting construction, renovation, modernization and maintenance projects across all project phases
• Further developing investment and usage cost controlling and ensuring transparent and reliable cost management
• Preparing profitability calculations, investment calculations and life cycle analyses and deriving recommendations for investment decisions
• Planning, monitoring and controlling project budgets, schedules and quality, and reviewing cost estimates, offers and change orders; responsible for tendering, commissioning and managing external planners, specialist engineers and contractors
• Identifying optimization and savings potential and supporting the development of maintenance and investment strategies
• Preparing key figures, reports and decision papers for management and the board, and contributing to developing digital controlling and reporting tools

• Completed degree (Bachelor's or Master's/Diplom) in architecture, civil engineering, real estate management or a comparable field
• Four years of professional experience in project management, owner representation, technical asset management or real estate management
• Sound knowledge of cost management and project controlling, and experience in budget planning, investment calculation and profitability analysis
• Very good knowledge of HOAI, AHO and VOB as well as the relevant technical and building law regulations
• Strong communication skills and organizational talent, and an independent, structured and proactive way of working
• Strong cost awareness, analytical strength and affinity for key figures, and the ability to present technical and economic relationships clearly and prepare decisions
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and of digital controlling and project management systems
• Class B driving licence and willingness to travel for projects in the ADAC Nordrhein e.V. area
