Business Analyst for Workflow Management Systems

Part of the adesso group, adesso insurance solutions GmbH develops software for the insurance industry. As a business analyst, you analyze customer requirements and develop business concepts for insurance software.

• Analyze and specify customer requirements: Analyze systems and processes, specify business requirements and assess technical feasibility while considering possible interactions and dependencies. Attend meetings at customers' premises.
• Advise on business architecture for insurance software: Develop business architecture concepts for insurance software products together with customers.
• Create concepts: Develop business concepts with a focus on end-to-end processes across products.
• Technical support: Support the technical implementation of the specifications you develop.
• Contact person: Act as the business subject matter contact within the project team.

• Career background: You have a degree in mathematics or physics, or a background in the insurance industry.
• Industry knowledge: You have relevant professional experience in insurance, ideally life insurance.
• Business analysis skills: You have experience working as a business analyst in a scientific field.
• Additional experience: You have an interest in technology and understand insurance companies' IT systems. Database knowledge and experience in process modeling, such as BPMN, are desirable. Enjoying programming would be an added advantage.
• Cognitive skills: You have strong analytical and abstract thinking skills.
• Language skills: You have very good spoken and written German, at least C1 level.
