Requirements Engineer

As part of the adesso group, adesso insurance solutions GmbH bundles its own product portfolio for the insurance market and drives innovative software solutions in this environment. We are a team of over 500 dedicated colleagues. And you can become part of it.

• Customer contact: You capture the technical customer requirements and assess the technical feasibility taking into account possible interactions and relationships.
• Technical architecture concepts and software: You develop technical architecture concepts for our software products for the insurance industry.
• Create cross-product concepts: Technical, cross-product concepts and architecture specifications are created by you.
• Create specifications for development: You create specifications, wireframes, and interaction concepts as specifications for development.
• Technical implementation: You support the implementation of the created specifications.
• Be the link: You actively participate in appointments to gather requirements directly with customers. With your analytical skills, you are the fixed link between customers, specialist departments, software architects, and developers and are the contact person for technical and functional topics for all parties involved.

• Your educational path: You have a completed degree in the field of (business) informatics or with an IT focus. A lateral entry is possible with IT affinity.
• Practical experience: You have already gained experience in creating specifications, UML diagrams, and wireframes. In addition, you have several years of experience as a requirements engineer or have sound IT knowledge in the insurance sector, for example through your involvement in the introduction of an IT software.
• Programming experience: You bring practical programming experience or knowledge in software development (object-oriented programming languages, software patterns, technical architecture).
• Soft skills: Your independent way of working, analytical thinking, ability to abstract, and quick comprehension characterize you. In addition, you have strong communication skills and enjoy dealing with customers and teams.
• Language skills: You have very good German skills in word and writing (at least C1 level).
