Presales Consultant for IT Management Consulting with a Focus on Security

adesso helps clients improve their core business processes with tailored IT solutions. In this role, you grow the security business and manage the full client acquisition process.

• Business development: You take an entrepreneurial approach to growing existing and new business in the Security business unit and drive security growth across industries.
• Client acquisition: You plan, manage and carry out every step of client acquisition, from proactively generating enquiries to preparing proposals.
• Collaboration: You work closely with account managers, proposal management, delivery teams and external partners.
• Portfolio development: You use your understanding of the market to help develop our security portfolio and create sales materials tailored to different audiences.
• Training and advice: You train and advise our sales teams and attend client meetings and security events.

• Education: Ideally, you have completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Business and Economics, and hold additional qualifications and relevant security certifications.
• Expertise: You understand IT security, business continuity management, information security, governance, risk and compliance. You have practical experience delivering security projects and working on sales and proposals, helping you identify new business opportunities early.
• Industries and network: You have experience across different industries, ideally regulated ones, and a broad network in the security community where you communicate confidently with decision makers.
• Presentation skills: Your strong presentation and communication skills help you ask the right questions, engage others and convince them of our solutions.
• Professional experience: You have at least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• AI skills: You use AI tools confidently in your field, assess their results critically and help clients and adesso colleagues make use of AI.
• Language skills: Your very good German and good English allow you to communicate confidently.
