Job profile Electronics Technician Automation Technology (d/m/w): Electronics technicians for automation technology analyze functional relationships and process flows of automated systems. They install and adjust electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic drive systems and install measuring, control and regulation equipment. In doing so, they assemble, configure, program and adjust sensor systems, operating systems, bus systems and networks. The installed components are connected to complex automation devices which are integrated into an overall system. After test runs, they hand over the systems and instruct future users in their operation. They also take over fault analysis and rectification of malfunctions in the systems during operation. Apprenticeship duration: 3 1/2 years. Vocational school information: Classes at vocational school 7 in Augsburg in the 1st apprenticeship year and at vocational school in Memmingen in subsequent years; block teaching.
