Airbus DS Airborne Solutions GmbH: DevSecOps & Compliance Engineer

Airbus DS Airborne Solutions GmbH develops and delivers solutions for unmanned aircraft and cargo loading systems. Its Bremen team is seeking a DevSecOps & Compliance Engineer to start as soon as possible, maintain the development environment and ensure its IT security and compliance. This is a permanent position.

• Act as the technical IT security officer for the entire engineering department.
• Support the introduction of a new development environment.
• Maintain, expand and support the environment, including patch management and scaling through IaC.
• Improve the DevOps pipeline and ensure modern tools are integrated.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to keep the environment scalable and efficient.
• Ensure the environment meets ISO 27001 requirements and BSI IT baseline protection standards in particular.
• Introduce monitoring and logging processes to keep the environment ready for audits at all times.
• Monitor compliance with security policies for different protection levels.

• A completed degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Systems Engineering or a comparable qualification with a strong focus on infrastructure and security.
• Solid experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, as well as virtualisation with VMware vSphere and containerisation.
• In-depth knowledge of information security management systems under ISO 27001, ideally with experience of BSI IT baseline protection and other applicable rules.
• Confident use of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps methods.
• The ability to assess technical solutions for their functionality, readiness for audits and security.
• A highly independent, organised approach to work, along with trustworthiness, integrity and reliability.
• Very good German and English skills.
