Customer Support Engineer Agnet

To support the “IT Operations & Customer Service” department, Airbus Secure Land Communications GmbH is looking for a Customer Support Engineer (m/f/d) Agnet at the Sulzbach (Taunus) or Berlin locations. Help us build and secure critical infrastructure! Become part of the team that is implementing the technical modernization of the German digital radio system, the backbone of all emergency services operations in Germany. Over one million users from police, fire departments, rescue services, and disaster relief rely on this highly complex system. Work with our experts in radio technology, IT infrastructure, and network architecture on the provision and implementation of the latest TETRA technology. Prepare this network for the step to broadband technology LTE and 5G. The demanding requirements for availability and integrity of the highly redundant German digital radio are in a class of their own: availability of over 99.95%, more than 99% coverage of Germany achieved through more than 4,900 base stations. Support us as a Customer Support Engineer (m/f/d) in an agile team with the highest quality standards in the successful delivery of this system technology according to DevSecOps principles. • Processing technical inquiries and resolving complex faults in 2nd level support in the Agnet environment
• Responsibility for installation and professional commissioning of new systems
• Conducting problem management and ensuring stable processes through targeted change and configuration management
• Regular upgrades and ensuring continuous maintenance of implemented Agnet systems
• Close and solution-oriented collaboration with customers, project teams, and adjacent departments (e.g., System Engineering)

• Completed vocational training or degree (university of applied sciences/university) in IT, telecommunications, mobile communications, or a comparable field
• Sound knowledge of IP networks and Linux operating systems
• Ideally experience in mobile communications technologies, virtualization, and software deployment
• Knowledge in the environment of authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS) is a big plus
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to systematically penetrate complex problems
• Team player with enjoyment of team collaboration
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
