The high dynamics of technology constantly create new opportunities and challenges in computer science. In the dual study programme in computer science, you will deal with the systematic analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of software systems designed for a long service life. You will learn programming languages, algorithms and data structures to develop efficient solutions for complex problems. The study focus "IT Security" covers the following topics: IT law, IT security, design of secure systems, secure production systems, data security, cloud computing, radio networks, network architectures, secure corporate networks, attack methods, penetration testing, applied computer science research. Located between Stuttgart and Munich, Ulm is a city that offers a wide range of leisure and cultural activities. During your studies you have the chance to get to know at least two of our Airbus locations: In our training laboratories at the Friedrichshafen site you have the opportunity to acquire a broad base of knowledge. Our portfolio in computer science ranges from classic desktop development to robot arm programming, and in electrical engineering to the development and production of our own electronic circuit boards. Our mechatronic training workshop rounds off our offer. In addition, we offer an individual study programme where you can acquire key and additional qualifications in competence days or in a wide variety of projects. Through small teams you will be personally supported and can continuously prove yourself. (A)SLC at the Ulm site offers a comprehensive range of radio and IT solutions for mobile, tactical communications. We are proud to be one of the leading providers in the field of professional mobile communications with over 300 radio networks in more than 80 countries. In this way, ASLC makes a significant contribution to stabilising global security. Almost 1,150 employees in 17 countries realise the planning, construction and operation of our mobile networks. The availability and reliability of our networks is an industry benchmark. As an independent unit of Secure Land Communications (part of the Airbus Group), ASLC GmbH is responsible for customers in the German-speaking region. The focus of its business activities is equipping our customers with customised solutions in the areas of security, defence, transport, supply and industry. This includes the realisation of nationwide security radio networks, such as the digital authority radio of the Federal Republic of Germany. At the Ulm site and at the other sites in Sulzbach (Taunus) and Berlin, around 240 employees work daily on the planning, realisation or service of innovative customer solutions, for example in Solution Management, Customer Support Engineering or Project Management.
