In the 2-year apprenticeship as a sales assistant or the 3-year apprenticeship as a retail management assistant you will learn how retail processes work: starting with the ordering of goods through receipt, presentation and storage of goods to sales and sales-promoting measures. You can expect the following tasks: Receipt of goods deliveries; Storing goods and product presentation; Freshness checks in the fruit and vegetable section; Ensuring availability of our bakery products; Operating the checkout and cash reconciliation; Ensuring order and cleanliness in the store. Depending on the collective bargaining area you work between 37 and 39 hours per week including vocational school times. The vocational school will be near your place of residence.

A school diploma (qualifying lower secondary school certificate or intermediate secondary school certificate); Enthusiasm for food and consumer goods; Motivation, initiative and reliability; Numerical skills and desire to actively contribute them; Team spirit and enjoyment of contact with customers; Good German skills (at least language level B1) to ensure smooth communication with customers
