MTR Training (Medical Technologist for Radiology)

Training as a medical technologist for radiology at Marienhospital Aachen. The three-year program combines practical training in radiology, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine with block-based classes in Würselen and modern diagnostic procedures.

Supporting patients from admission through data management to examination; learning and technically implementing modern examination methods such as X-rays, MRI and CT; documenting services provided and ensuring medical materials are available.

At least an intermediate school-leaving certificate, or a lower secondary certificate combined with a completed vocational qualification lasting at least two years; at least 16 years old when training begins; fluent German, spoken and written, at C1 level; good science grades, strong communication skills and genuine interest in working with people and modern technology.
