Nursing Specialist Trauma Surgery

Medical focuses include visceral medicine, vascular medicine, cardiology, trauma surgery and palliative medicine. Our location is central in Potsdam, directly at Park Sanssouci. Together with the Oberlinklinik as a supra-regional orthopedic specialty clinic and the Evangelical Center for Geriatric Medicine as a geriatric hospital with day clinic, we offer a strong network with a broad medical spectrum for Potsdam and the surrounding area. On our ward St. Klara we care for patients from trauma surgery and internal medicine. You can expect a varied nursing field with diverse clinical pictures and close interprofessional collaboration. For our team we are looking for a nursing specialist (m/f/d) who contributes their professional expertise and reliably accompanies our patients through the treatment process.

• Nursing care and monitoring of our patients in trauma surgery
• Planning, implementation and evaluation of the individual nursing process including nursing history and documentation
• Implementation of basic and treatment care as well as implementation of our nursing quality standards
• Preparation and accompaniment of diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• Participation in medical rounds and implementation of medical orders

• Completed apprenticeship as a nursing specialist, health and nurse, geriatric nurse or comparable qualification (m/f/d)
• Experience in trauma surgery is an advantage but not a prerequisite
• Responsible and structured way of working as well as enjoyment of collaboration in an interprofessional team
• Confident handling of digital nursing documentation or willingness to familiarize yourself with our systems
• You have a positive attitude towards the Christian values of the institution
