About this Apprenticeship
- Location: Unterföhring (near Munich) Welcome to Allianz For our modern and innovative location Unterföhring, we are looking for a committed personality as an intern for 6 months (full-time) with a broad range of tasks for our department IT Compliance & IT Strategy starting September 2026. Your springboard into strategic IT – at one of Germany's best employers The German Allianz companies are driving the digitalization of business consistently forward. The existing application and infrastructure landscape is being significantly further developed in extensive programs – and at the same time IT must meet increasing external and internal regulatory requirements. A central role is played by the Enterprise Architecture division within Allianz Kunde und Markt GmbH, which is responsible for three topics for the German Allianz companies:
- Further development of business and IT architecture
- Development and updating of IT strategy
- Ensuring IT compliance
What You'll Learn
- KPI Management & Reporting:
- Support in creating transparency over IT KPIs
- Participation in the further development of dashboards and reporting solutions
- IT Strategy:
- Contribution to the creation of the next IT strategy for 2027
- Support in organizing and conducting stakeholder workshops with the CIOs and COOs of the German Allianz companies
- Preparation of strategic content and creation of communication materials
- IT Compliance & Regulation:
- Support in preparing and accompanying audits
- Participation in company-wide communication and preparation of current regulatory requirements for the organization
- Support in coordinating regulatory requirements (DORA, NFRM)
- Support in the further development of lean governance processes
Requirements
- Professional Qualifications:
- Ongoing studies in (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration/Economics or a related field
- Practical experience through previous internships or working student activities – ideally in IT, consulting, compliance, or project management
- Interest in IT strategy, regulation, and data-driven management
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps or comparable tools desirable
- Knowledge of Python and/or data analysis an advantage
- Affinity for Artificial Intelligence and its applications
- Negotiation-proficient German in word and writing
- Personal Strengths:
- Strong analytical skills and structured way of working
- Communication strength – you can present complex issues understandably
- High self-initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn
- Teamwork and reliability
- Enjoyment of working in a strategic environment with interfaces to top management
- Openness to creative and innovative solutions as well as enjoyment in dealing with future-oriented technologies such as Artificial Intelligence or internal ChatGPT
