Project Manager for Investment and Improvement Projects

Armacell is seeking a project manager to join the maintenance department at its European headquarters in Münster (Westfalen) as soon as possible. Within the Worldclass Armacell Mindset production system, you lead investment and improvement projects and ensure they meet deadlines and quality standards.

• Design, prepare, deliver and follow up on investment and improvement projects, including reporting
• Deliver projects according to Armacell standards, particularly in Early Equipment Management, Early Product Management and Quality & Process Control
• Prepare specifications for quotations and orders for your projects
• Define technical requirements and specifications for equipment and production processes to ensure successful project delivery
• Carry out detailed data analysis and break down losses into categories when preparing and reviewing projects
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, technical rules and regulations during project planning, installation, commissioning and handover to production and maintenance
• Prepare investment requests, including financial viability assessments, budget plans and documents to support decisions

• You have completed a technical degree, ideally specialising in electrical engineering. Alternatively, you hold a relevant technician or master craftsperson qualification combined with at least five years of professional experience.
• You have at least three years of experience in planning machinery and plant projects, preferably in the plastics or chemical industry
• You have experience in Lean Management or World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and the relevant tools
• You have knowledge of plastics technology, chemical engineering, machinery and plant engineering, as well as a basic understanding of business management
• You are confident using MS Office applications and enterprise resource planning systems (SAP), and have basic knowledge of measurement and control technology
• You have very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
• You work independently, take responsibility and follow a systematic approach
