About this Apprenticeship
Asklepios Clinic Sankt Augustin offers a one year general nursing assistant training programme ending with a state examination. Training includes required placements in residential and community long term care and inpatient acute care. Programmes start on 1 February or 1 August each year. Graduates can then train as qualified nurses, with the option of a shorter programme.
What You'll Learn
- Provide age appropriate support, nursing care, and assistance with medical care for premature babies, infants, children, and teenagers
Requirements
- At least a lower secondary school leaving certificate
- At least 17 years old
- Medically fit for the role
- Team spirit and willingness to learn
- Interest in working with children
