Medical Assistant Rheumatology

Asklepios MVZ Lower Saxony is looking for a Medical Assistant for Rheumatology. The role includes reception and care of patients, organisation of practice workflow, administrative tasks, assistance during examinations, blood sampling, hygiene management and billing according to EBM/GOÄ/ASV.

Reception and care of patients (registration, appointment scheduling, telephone). Organisation and coordination of practice workflow. Performance of administrative tasks (patient admission, documentation). Assistance during medical examinations and treatments. Preparation of treatment rooms and instruments. Blood sampling. Support with diagnostic measures. Management of prescriptions, referrals and orders. Hygiene and quality management according to current guidelines. Communication with patients, relatives and external partners (e.g. clinics). Billing according to EBM/GOÄ/ASV.

Completed training as a Medical Assistant (MFA) or equivalent qualification. Experience in rheumatology is an advantage. Friendly, empathetic manner with patients of all ages. Sense of responsibility and teamwork skills. Proficiency with practice software and common PC applications. Enjoyment of a varied daily practice routine. Independent work and proactive thinking in practice workflow. Interest in further training and education.
