You will handle the acceptance, inspection, and careful documentation of incoming examination materials. You prepare and process biopsy and surgical specimens for histopathological diagnostics. You assist physicians with the medical grossing. You produce high-quality paraffin sections and perform various histological stains. You independently process frozen sections at the cryostat. You participate in immunohistochemistry and other modern diagnostic procedures. You ensure complete and traceable documentation in our laboratory and pathology systems. You contribute to quality assurance and the continuous optimization of laboratory processes. You comply with and further develop hygiene, work, and quality standards. You collaborate closely with physicians and other professional groups.

Successfully completed training as a Medical Technologist for Laboratory Analytics (f/m/d). Ideally initial or several years of professional experience in histology or pathology. Good knowledge of histotechnology and processing of tissue samples. Experience in immunohistochemistry is an advantage. Interest in modern diagnostics, new technologies, and digital laboratory processes. A careful, structured, and quality-conscious way of working. High degree of reliability, sense of responsibility, and teamwork. Confident handling of IT systems or willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new laboratory and pathology systems. Enjoyment of contributing your own expertise and continuously developing professionally. Qualification as a practice instructor (f/m/d) is an advantage. Qualification as a quality management officer (f/m/d) is an advantage.
