About this Apprenticeship
Varied outdoor apprenticeship with Autobahn GmbH starting on 1 August 2027. Practical training takes place at the Bad Segeberg motorway maintenance depot. Classroom training takes place at the Berufsbildungszentrum am Nordostseekanal in Rendsburg and currently at the Deula training centre in Rendsburg and Ahrensbök. The apprenticeship ends with an examination held by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
What You'll Learn
- Check road surfaces, safety barriers and bridges for damage
- Carry out repairs and lay asphalt
- Maintain roadside greenery
- Keep motorways clear for traffic in winter
Requirements
- Willingness to learn, put in effort and do well
- Reliability, teamwork and initiative
- Practical skills and technical understanding
- At least a lower secondary school certificate or equivalent vocational entry qualification
- At least satisfactory grades in German, mathematics and physics, technology or natural sciences
- Physical fitness to drive vehicles and do physical work outdoors in every season

- You receive good training pay under our company pay agreement: first year: €1,418.26 / second year: €1,468.20 / third year: €1,514.02, plus an annual special payment and a bonus for completing your training.
- You receive 30 + 1 days of annual leave and paid time off to prepare for exams.
- We pay for your category B car licence and category C and CE lorry licences after your probation period.
- We also pay for all learning and training materials.
- We provide your orange work clothes and even arrange a free laundry service.
