About this Apprenticeship
To support our team in the Construction and Maintenance division at the Bochum branch office, we are looking for a civil engineer (m/f/d) in structural engineering as soon as possible. The position is fixed-term for the duration of a parental leave, at most until 31.10.2028.
What You'll Learn
- Operational project work: designing structures, preparing tender documents, awarding engineering services in structural engineering
- Drafting or defining the task descriptions for engineering services
- Reviewing planning work, especially execution documents, structural designs and bills of quantities
- Participating in project management of construction measures and technical supervision of bridge, tunnel and other engineering projects
- Cooperation and coordination with internal interfaces, external planning and engineering offices and contracted construction firms (in all HOAI phases)
- Monitoring and steering of construction implementation and briefing the contractor
Requirements
- Completed university degree (Diplom FH/Bachelor) as a civil engineer specializing in structural engineering with several years of professional experience or comparable qualification
- Sound knowledge of construction project management (focus on structural engineering)
- Knowledge of procurement and contract law; especially VOB, HOAI, BGB and HGB
- Knowledge of the relevant technical standards and regulations of structural engineering
- Driver's license class B and willingness to drive a company vehicle
- Fluent German skills
