• Planning and design of engineering structures (steel and solid construction) in accordance with DIN 1076, including conception, feasibility and design studies as well as evaluation of alternative construction methods, materials and constructions.
• Examination of planning services (execution documents, bills of quantities) based on relevant standards and guidelines such as RAB‑ING, RE‑ING and ZTV‑ING as well as engineering support of planning phases.
• BIM-supported planning, including development, support and quality assurance of model-based specialist planning and coordination of interfaces in the planning process.
• Preparation of tender and award documents, including specifications, tender inquiries, examination and evaluation of tenders as well as participation in contract conclusion and processing.
• Participation in structural inspections according to DIN 1076 and derivation of rehabilitation and strengthening measures for engineering structures.
• Preparation of technical expert opinions, in particular for the assessment of structural measures by third parties with regard to possible influences on engineering structures under federal responsibility.

• Completed university degree (Diploma or Master) in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering or a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with relevant professional experience in structural engineering
• Sound knowledge in the design and execution planning of engineering structures, including relevant standards and guidelines (e.g. DIN 1076, RAB‑ING, RE‑ING, ZTV‑ING).
• Practical experience in the examination of planning documents, the preparation of bills of quantities and participation in structural inspections and rehabilitation measures.
• Experience in the preparation of tender and award documents as well as in the examination and evaluation of tenders in the field of engineering services.
• Confident handling of digital planning tools, ideally knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and common CAD software.
• Strong analytical skills, structured way of working, organizational strength and the ability to work independently and responsibly in a project environment.
