Engineer Equipment

To support the team in the Traffic department of the Verden branch office, an equipment engineer is sought as soon as possible. The position is a fixed-term parental leave cover starting immediately, expected until 31.10.2028. Pay group: E12.

• Tendering and supervising maintenance and renewal measures for motorway equipment elements (vehicle restraint systems, signage, markings, lighting and traffic signal systems)
• Contributing to construction-phase traffic concepts, planning maintenance measures for road equipment, and collecting and preparing traffic-related data
• Road construction authority tasks such as preparing traffic orders

• A completed university degree (or university of applied sciences) in civil engineering and transport, or equivalent expertise, qualifications and experience
• Driver's license class B and willingness to travel on business
• Several years of professional experience implementing equipment construction measures in road construction and in public procurement (VOB/VOL)
• Good German skills, at least C1 level
