Engineer Landscape Conservation Planning

Engineer Landscape Conservation Planning (f/m/d) at the Verden branch office, Environmental Planning department. Preparation of environmental impact assessments, landscape conservation plans, species protection reports and FFH compatibility assessments. Participation in planning approval procedures, awarding and processing of engineering services.

• You prepare environmental impact assessments, landscape conservation plans and species protection reports and conduct FFH compatibility (pre-)assessments.
• In addition, you participate in planning approval procedures, among other things by preparing responses to statements and objections.
• Furthermore, the awarding, processing, acceptance and accounting of engineering services are your responsibility.
• In the context of these demanding tasks, you coordinate with specialist authorities and supervise external engineering services.

• Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Conservation, Landscape Planning, Landscape Ecology, a comparable qualification or corresponding knowledge and skills acquired in practice.
• In addition, you have good knowledge of the Fee Scale for Architects and Engineers (HOAI) and sound knowledge of the Fauna-Flora-Habitat Directive (FFH Directive).
• You already have professional experience in the advertised area of responsibility (desirable).
• Ideally, you also have experience in dealing with the legal provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment Act (UVPG) and knowledge in conducting planning approval procedures (desirable).
