Operator

To support the team at the VZ Rohrbach, Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is looking for an Operator (f/m/d) as soon as possible. Pay follows pay group E9a - E9b under the MTV-Autobahn. Selection is made by a committee.

• Recognizing incidents (e.g. assistance, accident, fire etc.) and receiving incident reports
• Initiating emergency response measures to rescue people and keep the infrastructure working
• Ensuring operations run in normal and fault situations
• Monitoring and controlling the traffic and operational technical systems
• Ensuring traffic flow in the road tunnels
• Working with police, fire brigade and rescue services according to the local structure
• Central contact for the operations service of the motorway maintenance depots

• Completed training as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, communications engineering or traffic engineering or related fields, or
• Completed vocational training as an electrical fitter, electronics technician, industrial electronics technician, industrial mechanic or mechatronics technician or related fields, or
• Proven in-depth knowledge equivalent to three years of practical experience as an operator in work of pay group 9a
• Desirable: Understanding of processes, design and SLAs/KPIs (incident management)
• Desirable: Knowledge and experience with network structures and monitoring and support systems
• Desirable: Guideline for equipment and operation of road tunnels (RABT)
• Desirable: Alarm and emergency response planning (AGAP) specific to each tunnel
• Desirable: Guideline for securing construction sites (RSA)
