About this Apprenticeship
To support the team at the Alsfeld motorway maintenance depot, Autobahn GmbH is looking for a road maintenance worker for winter service starting 01.11.2026, fixed-term until 30.04.2027. Pay follows pay group E6 under the MTV-Autobahn.
What You'll Learn
- Carrying out winter service work, including driving trucks and multi-purpose carriers with specialised clearing and gritting equipment, and using small equipment on car parks or other motorway facilities
- Carrying out repair, upkeep, maintenance and care work on the road body, ancillary facilities and road accessories
Requirements
- A C/CE driving licence is mandatory, plus willingness to drive company vehicles
- Willingness to work shifts and ability to drive vehicles with mounted winter service equipment (e.g. snow plough) on federal motorways
- Physical fitness and willingness to do practical tasks, such as tree and shrub care or cleaning work
- Desirable: first experience with road maintenance service work or winter service
- Committed, reliable, responsible, independent way of working
- Enjoy working in a team
- High resilience, decisiveness and dedication
