About this Apprenticeship
The Baunatal motorway maintenance depot is recruiting several road maintenance workers for winter services starting on 1 November 2026 and ending on 30 April 2027. The role focuses on winter services and repairing, maintaining and caring for roads and associated facilities.
What You'll Learn
- Carry out winter service work, including driving trucks and multipurpose vehicles fitted with snow clearing and gritting equipment, and using small equipment in motorway car parks and other facilities
- Repair, maintain, service and care for the road structure, associated facilities and road equipment
Requirements
- A category C/CE driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles are essential
- Willingness to work shifts and ability to drive vehicles fitted with winter service equipment, such as snowploughs, on federal motorways
- Initial experience in road maintenance or winter services is an advantage
- A committed, reliable, responsible and independent approach to work
- Enjoy working in a team
- Ability to cope well under pressure, make decisions and show commitment
